KC Floorworx Estimate App Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026. Applies to the online estimate at estimate.kcfloorworx.com and the KC Floorworx iPhone app. Our main website's policy is at kcfloorworx.com.

Who we are

KC Floorworx ("we", "us") is a flooring company serving the Kansas City area, with showrooms in Overland Park, KS and Blue Springs, MO. Mailing address: 10514 W 103rd St, Overland Park, KS 66212.

Information we collect

We don't ask for or collect payment information. Financing is handled by Wisetack on its own site (see "Other companies' sites").

How we use your information

• To give you a rough estimate, email you a copy of it, and follow up with a final quote.
• To contact you about your project by call, text or email. If we text you, message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to stop texts at any time.
• To keep records of estimate requests and improve our pricing and service.
• To protect our service from spam, fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Who receives your information

• KC Floorworx staff. Each request is emailed to our sales team so someone can reach you quickly.
• Our CRM. Your request is added to our customer management system (Floorzap) automatically, using the automation service Zapier, so we can track your project and quote.
• Service providers that run the app for us: Cloudflare (hosting, security and storage of requests), Resend (delivers request emails and the copy of your quote we email you) and Google Workspace (our business email). They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
• Legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
• Business transfer. If KC Floorworx is sold or reorganized, records may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give your name, phone number, email or address to Google, Meta or any other ad network.

Ad tracking on the website (Google Ads and Meta Pixel)

The website version at estimate.kcfloorworx.com uses the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel. They tell us when someone starts an estimate, sees a price, or sends a request, along with non-contact details such as the estimate amount, floor type, timeframe and square footage. Google and Meta use cookies and device identifiers to connect these events to ads you saw, to measure our ads, and to show our ads to people who visited (retargeting). Google's and Meta's own privacy policies apply to the data they collect.

Your choices:

• Tap "Turn off ad tracking" on the "Tell us about you" step, or turn it off now on this device. This is saved in your browser.
• We honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, the Google and Meta tags are never loaded.
• Google: manage ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.
• Meta: manage ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.
• Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The iPhone app

• The app shows the same estimate flow as the website, but it does not load the Google Ads tag or Meta Pixel, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
• Camera and LiDAR: used only when you tap "Scan with iPhone" (RoomPlan) or choose to take a photo of a floor plan. Scans are processed on your phone, and only the room measurements are sent to us.
• Photos: used only if you pick a floor plan image to attach. Only the image you choose is sent.
• The app doesn't keep cookies or website data after you close it, and there's no account or login.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests as business records for as long as we need them to serve you, follow up on your project, and meet tax, warranty and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your request at any time (see below). Data that Google or Meta collect on the website is kept under their own policies.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you sent us, or to stop contacting you. Call or email us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them.

Security

All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored with reputable providers with access limited to our team. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

This service is for adults planning a flooring project. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Other companies' sites

Financing links open Wisetack's prequalification site. We don't send your contact information to Wisetack; what you enter there is covered by Wisetack's privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. Significant changes will be noted in the app or on the website.
